Losing weight and other observations

Today I weighed myself in the morning and I've lost 10 pounds, which is so good. I just need to lose another ten to be at my optimum weight and fit into the size 32 jeans. Also Ive been noticing alot of guys wearing v-neck t shirts and a gold chain. Not sure if I like the look or not. Wondering if it could work to me without looking to Russian guido.

The bomber jacket arrived in the mail from them today in navy blue and I love it. Im still waiting for the striped hoodie. Didn't used to be a fan of Marc, but the mens line is getting better and not so punky looking.

This is my first post in awhile, but I was deeply saddened to learn of the death of one of my dear friends Dennis Ho. Dennis passed away yesterday from Liver cancer. He was a good friend of mine for 3 years. We had so many plesant and wonderrful times. It is especially sad since he was living in this country illegally and he was unable to really move forward. I alwya used to encourage him to do well in school, counsel him through is personal crisis and just be there to cheer him up and forget about our mutual problems. He was an outstanding chef as well. Dennis I love you and will miss you very very much.

Happy gay pride

Happy gay pride. I didn't go to the parade. Something about rain and humidity and crowds didn't entice me this year. There's other ways to be proud and I don't need to go to a parade to show it. I was only going to go to look at the naked men, but one of my friends bailed out on me.

Anderson Cooper

I first saw him in person one night while walking down 7th ave in Chelsea. I was intirgued by his beautiful blue eyes and later realized who he was once he had crossed the street. Although I don't have cable I have seen a few clips on CNN.com and his appearances on the Oprah show to be very impressed with his work as well. His book is a must read for any aspiring media personality and really gives the story behind the news reports. At the Union Square Barnes and Noble the opther night I got my book signed and had a minute face to face with him. Gloria Vanderbilt was there as well and I was so amazed at the turnout for this signing. Almost as many people were there for the James Frey signing about 6 months ago, but somethiing about Cooper was more special even though I had wished he had taken some questions or at least read some of his book.

I went to the MOMA today and saw the Edward Munch exhibit. It was so good. I latched on to one of the lectures and learned so much. So funny how artists produce their best works when they are depressed. His works about his sister who died of Tuberculosis was my favorite as well as the predecessor to the scream called Despair(left). The Scream was not included, however, there were some excellent prints of the Scream. I have a newfound appreciation for Munch now!!

New Haircut.

Coco-you rock. Go visit her at 34th and Lex. Been seeing her as long as ive been in new york. Saw Dennis last night. I havent seen him in ages. We had a blast. Nice time shopping. Dinner at Bbar. Really Amazing Movie called CLEAN starring Maggie Cheung that I highly recommend. So beautifully filmed and extremely uplifting.

Got back today. DC was fab. So beautiful this time of year. Got to see my grammy. I love her sense of style so much!! Reminds me of Audrey Hepburn. Heres a pic! Also went to this great restaurant called the Tabard Inn. The food was to die for!!
