I finally bought this shirt Ive been lusting after. Its so hot. Military style with lapels and cool brass buttons. I've been lusting after it. I spent too much money, but for some things you have to pay full price. (It is under $200) Here's some pics.

Ive uploaded more pics to my album and also included a link on the links section.

OK so today I had the most rude thing happen to me today in my local Starbucks. Coffee has a strong diuretic effect for me as for many other people. I was sitting in he Starbucks reading my New York Times. Suddenly I had the urge to relieve myself. So, I went to the men's room, locked the door and sat down on the toilet. Not less than 2 seconds after while I was in the middle of doing my business there was a knock on the door. A woman's voice asked if there was anyone in there. So I said just a minute. Later two minutes later there was another knock and another. In addition I had to listen to this bitch yapping on her cell phone outside the door. I mean how inconsiderate can you be? I understand that you have to use the restroom, but you have to be respectful of others at the same time. I mean I've been in similar situations, but I was able to control myself. It is quite obvious that someone is using the facilities especially if there is an occupied sign on the front of the door which changes when you enter and lock the door. So when I exited the restroom I gave the lady a nasty look. It really is true that people are getting ruder and ruder and its something I just can't tolerate in addition to ones own feelings of self entitlement. I have spent probably just as much money at starbucks as this women considering I go there about 3-5 times a week.

My day

Has been so stressfull!! I lost my cellphone in a taxi. Im so piseed at myself cause it was the only one I liked it was so big. Im a size queen when it comers to cell phones. I need one that is big enough that isnt too easy to lose. Something weighty with some GRAVITAS ! I went to the store yesaterday, but I dont want to spend 300 dollars on a Treo. Ugh Im going to Starbucks now. Im addicted to the coffee. Its going to be nice; about 70 degrees today. Kelly Clarkson is on the radio now. I love that song "Behind these Hazel Eyes" SOO MUCH. Im going to go out and take some pictures with my new toy/digicam. I will upload them to my facebook album. Thats why I love Facebook.. It is so easy to upload pics on there 100x better than friendster or myspace.

Nate

Love this Video. SO funny!!!

Nornna

Nornna you really are a Superstar.

Youtube Groupie

These are my favorite people on Youtube with links.

Nornna- She blogs about every mundane thing in her life. Nornna really brings out my inner voyeur. I've seen her picking her acne, talking to her cat, eating, fighting with her mom. I'm going to post her video in my next post.

Bowie Chick- I love her videos because they remind me of me when I was in high school. I also love her camera's special effects. Her personality is kind of Dariaesque (the comic on MTV)

On another note: I'd like to know who is reading my blog. Please make a comment or send me an email at ad454@netzero.net if youre afraid to comment publicly.

Youtube

I've become addicted to Youtube lately. Maybe I'm behind the trend (always am sometimes when it somes to these things), but certain members on there I like. I really like BowieChick, Nornna and this guy Nate on there. Im going to do another post with links to their sites. Ive been having so many problems posting on here. My posts have gotten erased several times so I dont know what's up.

Update

I let things slip for too long and they caught up with me. CUNY has forced me to settle some incompletes and raise my GPA or else they will drop me. This has been a setback towards my goal of being the next Oprah Winfrey/Charlie Rose/Larry King, but I have to take care of things in order to get ahead. I'm learning these things the hard way :-( . I'm going to continue to write on here in order to make some journalistic progress. I saw Marc Jacobs on Oprah yesterday and it really inspired me to pick myself up again and move on. He was talking about how his grunge collection in the 90's was a miss and caused him to be fired from Perry Ellis.

On another note I was reading about the fall collections today in the Times. I'm including several styles from Viktor and Rolf and other designers that I really LOVED or inspired me. This creativity really is wearable art. (All photos taken from nytimes.com)

This silver number is very cool and funky. I like the skirt. For some reason the skirt reminds me of those upside down tinfoil wrappers that people use to bake cupcakes and muffins.

This piece is much more wearable. Classic with a little funky detail of silver lining. I can see some funky "lady who lunches" wearing this outfit. I really like pieces that are versatile such as this one. The top would look great with some jeans or the skirt paired with a different colored top. In fact, the outfit really needs some color. Maybe a broach or scarf. A neutral color like grey really works with anything. Of course you always have to think about which color will be most flattering to the wearer's complexion.

Something about me likes this BERNHARD WILLHELM piece. The Cocoon shape is interesting and is really coming back and has manifested itself in many different forms as well as across many different brands. I always believe that one's personal style should reflect their personality and the right person could really carry off this piece despite its lack of versatility.

This Versace dress although not very avant garde is well made and eye catching. The color is amazing and fits the model wonderfully. I'm really glad the Classical look has not gone out of fashion. This dress made me think of the Goddess exhibit a couple years ago at the Metropolitan Museum's Costume institute and could have been included in that exhibit. Way to Go Donatella!! Maybe the rehab really did some wonders for the company. I read a piece in W magazine recently about how she was inspired by the colors of the southwest from the Arizona or New Zealand center where she went for drug rehab. This blue certainly evokes that and makes me think of the sky in Georgia O' Keefe's paintings.

Sasha Cohen

I love her so much. She is the next Michelle Kwan although maybe she will win gold for once and beat the Russians. :-)

Olympics

Was watching Men's Short program last night on the Olympics. Johnny Weir(left) and Plushenko(bottom) were my favorites. Plushenko's program was so perfect as he nailed every jump and really showed great artistry as well. Something about me really likes Johnny Weir too. Maybe because he's such an outsider and he is openly gay as well. He also put on a really great program. Only a gay guy could wear a costume designed to look like a swan!! Both guys are really cute as well as graceful.

Here is the video from You tube of Johnny Weir:

I saw this in the nytimes and i thought it was funny. The inner 10 year old came out in me.

Snowstorm

Woke Up to this crazy snowstorm. I was hoping to make a killing at work since alot of people would not be able to make it in. I did decent. Not a really big fan of the snow, but it looks pretty and they did an okay job of shoveling the sidewalk on my street. I was afraid it was going to be another Blizzard of '96 but it is ok. I just hope it warms up again soon and the snow melts away instead of geting colder and icier.

I really loved this ensemble too!

My fav show so far of fashion week. I love Naomi and I loved this Anna Sui collection for next fall. She sure knows how to tear up a runway. She has one of the best walks of all the models.

The View

Had a fun time this morning being in the audience of the View. Those women are so entertaining. Joy Behar is such a trip. Star Jones looked stunning in the new tan Theory dress with the leather trim and some really funky cowboy boots while Meredith wore a nice fitting suit. Elizabeth looked stunning in a nice DVF print dress. She hardly looks like she just had a baby. My friend and I were seated towards the back of the studio. During one of the commercial breaks, Meredith came over to say hello to me and my friend. She asked if she had dragged me to the show. If only she knew :-) !! I think she had a little crush on me since she kind of caressed my leg, but its okay. I think she is one sexy woman and she seems like such a caring person. She reminds me in some ways of my mother. I got a little but shy and wish i could have chatted with her more.

Im also including some pics I took at the MOMA.
